Marina Fish and Chips Restaurant and Takeaway

We called on a Saturday tea time. We got a table immediately. The menus were brought to us straight away. We both got the marina special. Plus bread and butter. We found the batter on the fish was very thick and greasy.

Was working in the area so popped to Marina on passing. Free fish cake with fish chips and mushy peas, bang on! Good food with good customer service and not waiting long at all👌magic! 🙌

Marina serves some very pleasant fish and chips. Their portions however when dining in, do not match the price. I've tried both their cod and haddock. Both very nice. Some of their waiters could definitely be more friendly and welcoming. Their curry sauce is unmatched, really lush. Will definitely go again.

I work all over South Yorkshire and try many Fish & Chip shops. This place has got to be one of the best. Fish cooked to perfection with a light golden batter (You know the oil is changed regular when it looks that way) Every chip was a proper chunky chip. Staff members all friendly and polite and the place is spotless. Get a good amount of food for the price.

Went for a drive around and decided to see where the nearest chippy was. This was up at the top as one of the better ones so decided to try it. For the lunch special which I believe to be about 8/9pound so for two of us it was less than 20quid. You got fish chips and a pot of choice, we went with curry. The fish was massive and a good thick piece, tasted beautiful, the chips where lovely too and the pot of curry got mopped up. Absolutely gorgeous and highly recommend. Staff very polite and friendly. Definitely pop back again
