The Groom Room Rotherham

I have a 12yr old lurcher first time having her nails trimmed here. What a disaster. I’ve never had a problem before after her nails have been cut but this time they have been infected never grown back the same, they are all cracked and look a right mess she is having no end of trouble with them. So a nail trim has turned into £100’s to get them right again. ( which they are not ) Also staff very unfriendly and acted like everything was to much trouble . Will defiantly not be going back there

I booked my Pom x Chihuahua in for a full groom where it says you can chose length and style etc. my partner dropped him off as I was working and called me to say they can’t offer the shaved look we wanted because they don’t do it on Pomeranians as it’s their policy. We waited 2 weeks for this appointment and had I been told that on booking I would have taken bear elsewhere. He was desperate for a chop so I said to go ahead but I wanted them to cut him all over, which they actually did very well to my surprise, bear did look great. However I told them on the phone when I called to ask they cut him short that he has a couple of matted areas behind the ears and under the armpit area, dispute daily brushing and they said they could shave the armpit areas and get rid of the small matted lumps but I have just got home from work and the two matted lumps are still there and obvious to feel and not difficult to get rid of so I will now have to do that myself, dispute paying £50 and asking for this to be done. Overall, they have done a decent job on the cut but let down by A) not giving all information upfront when I booked and paid my deposit and B) not paying close enough detail and missing the thing I specifically asked for.

On getting my dog home after his visit for a full groom I was shocked to see his back end and inner legs, scalped, looks awful, very disappointed, I should have known really given how many dogs are in there at any one time.

Took a Lhasa Apso for full groom, did not listen to what we wanted. He came back with a wonky cut and the opposite of what we asked for. Overall unprofessional cut. Sorry for the bad review but to spend £50+ to not be given a decent groom is ridiculous

I would not recommend taking a border terrier to be stripped as the have strange ideas as to what a border terrier should look like. We had to return the following day to try to get him sorted out but we are still not satisfied a waste of £60.
