Jacqueline unraveled the mysteries of how to make a beautiful Victorian style lampshade over two indulgent days. Her expert tuition, endless patience and attention to detail made this short introductory course a worthwhile and satisfying experience. Starting as a complete novice, I finished the two day course feeling confident to develop this skilled activity and had acquired sufficient knowledge about how to choose the appropriate fabrics, trimmings and ‘tools of the trade’. I am now keen to learn different methods for other styles and have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Jacqueline as the person to choose for such excellent tuition.

I have completed a 1:1 Roman blind workshop and a two day Classic lampshade workshop with Jacqueline, who is a great tutor as well as a provider of delicious lunches! I am starting my own business providing interior services to a home and Jacqueline’s advice and tips have been invaluable too! Looking forward to attending the next Pleated lampshade workshop and of course the workshop on “Making a handmade bear”, is calling me to attend to! Thank you Jacqueline for making me feel right at home and relaxed which enables me to take in all you are teaching!

The Classic Tailored Workshop that I recently attended was excellent . Jacqueline conducts her workshops in a very friendly and professional manner. The lampshade I made was exactly what I wanted. I discussed the construct in advance of the workshop and I was delighted with the finished article.
