Very nice walk took us about 2 hours at a steady pace. Dog friendly with parts that you will need to put them on the lead as it goes onto roads, which are quiet so it’s not much of a problem. There’s a lot of runners and you go near the golf course for a small part as well. Nice views although you don’t spend too much time near the water. We went in March and walking boots were fine, a couple of quite muddy parts. It’s pretty flat, a bit hilly in a couple of spots but nothing too challenging.
Very peaceful. The walking surface is safe and the entire area is well protected. It is straight forward route and great place for dogs. Highly recommending it.
A great walk, I often do the eccup reservoir and Harewood circular. About 18km with a nice halfway point of the Harewood arms to walk your dog and have a quick couple pints of taddy lager.
Lovely walk around the reservoir suitable for dogs and can be feet off the lead in some places
Lovely walk along public foot paths across the countryside. Stunning views. However, you cannot walk anywhere near the reservoir. It is all cordoned off by fences and barbed wire and most the reservoir walk is between high trees. Take refreshments as it's a long walk and there is obviously now where to get supplies such as drinks or food. No toilet facilities. For a shortened walk you can take the car and park up, then walk as far as you like. Some of the walk is wheel chair friendly other parts are not
