Eccup Reservoir

Watched the sun set one evening. Bird flying over head and sky different shade orange all reflecting off the water making the most picturesque photo

From the pictures I envisioned a trial around the reservoir not around the fence that surrounds the reservoir. A bit disappointing not to be able to get closer. The entrance through the golf field is a bit tricky to find and all covered in nettles. Make sure you wear appropriate clothes to avoid stinging.

Great spot for a walk around a resevoir, nice gentle and flat, loads of geese.

It was nice to be there, no restrooms were easily found tho unfortunately, but nature is really beautiful with a really nice track there

Well, a bit of a challenge getting there since my friend's satnav kept wanting to send us through a no entry sign and storm Babet was making it just a tad more difficult. But we got there in the end, somewhat wetter than we hoped but certain in the knowledge that it is worth a second visit perhaps when when the weather is a little kinder. There's a piece of architectural magic there that Yorkshire Water hiding from the general public!
