The food here is excellent. You just can't go wrong with the mixed grill. The steak was actually cooked as ordered, that's a dying art. It was a very warm day so the heat inside was extreme, ac desperately needed. It's situated in a very busy area so bear that in mind. Beer selections were not so good
I would not class this pub as gastro pub as the food on offer was every day English food. It was very noisy as most in the pub had been out all day and were tipsy. It was better when they went home. If you want a quiet drink pop in after 9 pm
Went for dinner today. The food was really nice, and was good to be able to eat outside. The garden was great for the kids and they loved playing on bouncy castle. Will definately be back.
Best food I have had in a pub in a long time so fresh n nice and a bonus it is on our doorstep. Friendly nice staff Deffo recommend it to anyone
Elderly owner has'nt a clue how a pub should be run..past 2 years its had 6 managers!! Who cant work with him interefering all time.. been cleaned up twice for the owner just to let all druggies and village idiots back in...will never do anything while he owns it......shame
