Came to the cafe to have their afternoon tea offer throughout January and February this year. I asked them for a vegetarian afternoon tea which they were really good at cooperating, gave me the sandwiches I asked for. This was really good value having some finger sandwiches, crisps, fruit, a scone and a slice of cake with either a cup of tea or you can upgrade to coffee. The staff were really nice and the afternoon tea was good. It's only a small cafe so if you want to come in for afternoon tea I recommend contacting them to book before. My only downside is cos the cafe is in the library with the automatic door in the cold it is very cold, sat in the cafe we had to keep our coats on, but other than that it is really nice. They even offered us takeaway boxes when we didn't eat all the food

I'd been eager to try this small coffee shop for some time as I'd noticed it's a popular choice with the locals .It's nice & brightly decorated with 6 tables inside and 2 tables outside the entrance. Disappointingly, i noticed the seat covering on the back wall seats is badly worn & needs replacing /repair. There's a great choice of coffee options on offer along with other hot & cold drinks.Good choice of breakfast options & sandwiches on the menu, which includes gluten-free & a yummy cakes display on the counter. maybe not the cheapest price wise .The young staff on duty were very pleasant when I placed my order.Tables were quickly cleared & cleaned when customers had left .From my experience , I would definitely return back in the future. cash or card payments are accepted

Popped in for a quick lunch. Can’t fault the staff or really the venue. However the food is a scam. I paid £10 for a jacket potato with tuna and cheese. £10! Wouldn’t have been so bad if it was genuinely tasty but the potato was soggy and the cheese and tuna flavourless. The side salad was more exciting than the potato. Very disappointing. It’s a shame because the girls that work there were great, friendly and hard working.

Called here for lunch. There is a sufficient choice on the menu for both food and drinks. We had a tuna crunch toasted sandwich, which came with crisps and sode salad. This was around £10.00 each, and for an additional £2.50 you could add chips. The food was nice enough, however, not worth the money. Also, as the young girl was on her own, we waited quite a while for our food.
