This branch is bad ,I wanted to open my son,s account and they just tell me to bring this and that , they asked for utility bill surely for a 16 year old ,they said they want a letter from the surgery and they said it’s not adequate, there are people who look down on blacks and they try to frustrate you .. i thought proof of residence is just a letter that shows your name and address , but they told me they don’t want a letter from home office ,they wanted a utility bill from a 16 year old, like seriously 🥺it’s only racism in Halifax crystal peaks Sheffield
Called in Halifax this morning, lost pin no. for credit card, hiring a car for holiday Monday, desperate for help, Michelle, with two LL's came on the scene and her time and patience went way beyond the call of duty, she was amazing. She spent time helping me to understand online banking, and even let me borrow her spare pair of specs, showed me how to access my pin no, and saved the holiday, what a credit to Halifax, a lovely lady, thank you! A very happy customer.
Personally this branch isn't very helpful especially after today i would give 0 stars if i could have. went in to close my help to buy isa for them to close it down not give me a statement i asked for and then to be told the paperwork was being sent out due to technically difficulties once i noticed the statement i went back in and asked and they took another look at the isa statement then to be told there printer doesn't like to print the closing documents. If i was informed of this then i would have gone to another branch where i know it can be printed at
Janet is so helpful and compassionate. She has helped me with a financial matter, following a bereavement. Janet treated me with dignity and kindness. She explained things simply, without information overload, and was lovely throughout.
Halifax now going digital The app has lots of benefits, you can view your PIN , order a new PIN, cancel direct debits and set up and cancel standing orders. Transfer money between your accounts and to other people. Open brand new accounts, All of these examples can be done within minutes . No long waits for PIN etc . So easy to use and it’s safe and secure! Fantastic, keeps you one step ahead of fraudsters ( what’s not to like … banking at your fingertips) 👍👍👍👍👍
