Avoid, unless you have hours to waste waiting and are technologically brilliant. Very few staff, long queues and when served they told me I could only open an isa if I had a phone, which I don't . I am 75. This bank is age discriminatory in my opinion.
About a week ago I went in half an hour before they shut because I needed £20 changing into various coins because I was running a stall the next day. Despite them closing soon they were happy enough to help me with what was quite a lengthy request and they did what they could for me + didn't push me away. I appreciate what they did for me, though they did seem a little stressed/strained maybe because there were only 2 staff on, probably because they were closing soon. But I would use this bank again if I needed anything, the service was good.
Been to this bank now 4 times to put someone's name on the cheque book sent a mandate form off and tried to do it on line and still no joy rubbish

This is a review based on the system in this bank NOT the staff. Extremely lengthy queues. Only two counter staff. I firmly believe that the bank makes the process as difficult as possible to annoy the customer so they will stop using the branches. Staff have to come away from counters to help customers with the machines. I am currently standing 10 deep in the queue. Customers have to stand in a queue just to ask a question. Absolute farce and bad. Way to conduct business.
