Firbeck Sailing Club at Rother Valley Country Park A family friendly sailing club based at Rother Valley Country Park since 1983. Families and individuals are welcome to enjoy the pleasures of sailing (and other water sports) and at the same time join a socially minded group with various levels of sailing skill. New members are always welcome. No experience or boat is needed to join the club. Experienced members will provide informal tuition and advice for novices or taster sessions for beginners. The club is not a racing club, but they have several formal races throughout the year for fun, with limited rules, to improve your skills and add some excitement! On non-race days, you will always find members willing to chase each other around the buoys. Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, along with a program of social events for members, on the Main Lake at Rother Valley Country Park.
