Broom House at Egton Bridge

Wow. A short and simple word but sums up our stay at Broom House. Brianne and Luke couldn’t be better hosts, we were met at the car and had help with our bags to the top floor, quite a hike!! Nothing was too much trouble We stayed in attic room six with a stunning view and the Esk Valley railway at the end of the garden. The location is superb with Whitby only fifteen minutes aways and the rest of the North York Moors at your fingertips. The guest lounge is a delight and drinks outside in the garden is a wonderful way to end your day. A great choice of breakfast options and the full English was delicious. The only downside to the few days away is that we had to leave !!

Everything about this place is stunning. Perfect setting and location. Breakfast was delicious! Rooms are beautiful with everything you need, super comfy bed. Bri and luke, thankyou so much for having us. It's been so lovely. Xxx

We loved our stay in their 'cottage' a self contained duplex suite attached to the main house where breakfast is served. Really pleasant and helpful hosts.

We stayed at Broom House over the Easter weekend and had a fabulous time. We stayed in the cottage (a very lucky last minute upgrade) which was very comfortable. Really lovely modern bathroom, bedroom, living room with kitchen - all spotlessly clean and fitted out to a very high standard. The breakfasts were great, everything from full English to scrambled egg with smoked salmon to smashed avocado - delicious! Luke and Brianne couldn’t have been more helpful and were fun to talk to as well. Highly recommended.

Top notch all the way around! Our hosts Bri and Luke were lovely, engaging and attentive as needed. The property is well-appointed with a calming and peaceful decor. Lovely outside areas for relaxing and taking in the natural beauty of the North York Moors and they have a lovely common area parlor as well. Great breakfast in a lovely dining room to boot. Thanks Broom House for a lovely, relaxing, restful and rejuvenating stay in a lovely setting. So glad i visited this area and this property!
