Ladycross Plantation Caravan Park

Very quiet mid week stay most of the pitches were permanent sited vans . Lovely walks around the site, pub in Egton was good but too far to walk to.

The majority of the park is taken with seasonal pitches, which in September 2024 seemed ghostly, with what appeared to be only 10 % occupied. It is set in a forest but very few trees over hung the pitches. Being a tree hugger, I loved it. It is set within easy access to Whitby and far enough away from noise of traffic. Toilet and shower were clean and quite modern. Barrier gates with key fob.

Our second stay at this site. Despite the weather we had another lovely week. Beautiful location with lovely woodland walks. Spotless showers, and grounds are very well maintained. It really is so peaceful, we will definitely be returning soon

Used as a base for Whitby Autumn Goth weekend. Lovely woodland site, friendly, helpful staff. All pitches hard standing, easy access to all utilities. Best thunderbox emptying points I've ever used, spotless too No pictures of any of the site as we had biblical rain all weekend. Site stands up to awful weather though! Will go back to explore lovely part of the world. Close to heritage railway too.

What a beautiful place best site we've ever visited. So peaceful so clean and well kept. Large level and well spaced out pitches. Great showers and clean bathrooms. Amazing dog run a really large grass area with long grasses all around my dog loved it. The wooded area was wonderful well kept paths lots of different tracks covers a huge area. Lots of wildlife deer's hare's squirrel's and birds. So close to Whitby bay too either drive or bus which is a great day out. Will definitely be making another booking soon.
