My stay at Dalesbridge was very good. The facilities were exceptionally clean and tidy, the bar was warm and welcoming, and the pizzas were very nice indeed. The arrival process was straightforward, and I was directed to my allotted pitch and given a quick orientation of the facilities. The area is magnificent, offering great walking and classic Yorkshire villages to explore. The local village had two fantastic places to grab some food (one pub and one hotel), a bakery, and a shop. There is also a fantastic tea room in the hamlet of Feizor which is well worth a visit. I would thoroughly recommend staying at Dalesbridge, and I shall be visiting again.
Easy to get to and in a great location for walking. Booking in was professional and quick. Staff are fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Pitches are spotless and well maintained. Although the toilets are cleaned 3-4 times a day I think the volume of kids ( this is a busy weekend site) leave them not always looking great. Probably also need a few more but I am guessing only an issue at peak times. Well stocked shop on site and nice friendly bar. Didn't get to sample pizzas as sold out 😢.Overall great stay and the owners doing a great job with the old historic buildings.
Four old mates and I stayed in one of the 6 bed walkers cabins, we had a superb time. The cabin cabin comes with a large table which is brilliant for everything, map on the wall, its own shower and toilet (but also next to the shower block and loos if you all need to use them at the same time. There is a basic kitchen and the heating is great especially for drying your kit out. The pizzas are lovely and the bar has a nice atmosphere. Both bar and pizza oven can get very busy even out of season. There is a lovely pub just a pleasant 15 minute walk away in the middle of Austwick. Make sure you bring your own bed sheet and pillow. If you are wanting to walk the big hills around the area you will need to get in your car and drive to Ingleton (where the nearest shop is) or Horton in Ribblesdale which are both about 10-15 mins drive away. We had a lovely weekend, will defo return!
Just returned from a lovely camping trip and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The site itself was beautifully maintained and had a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere that made it easy to settle in and unwind. The staff were genuinely helpful and friendly — always on hand with a smile and ready to assist, which really added to the overall warmth of the place. The on-site bar had a great vibe: relaxed, sociable, and perfect for winding down after a day outdoors. Despite being close to the A65, noise wasn’t an issue at all — especially at night, when things were surprisingly peaceful. Facilities were decent overall. The toilets were fine, clean and functional, though the showers did struggle a bit with water pressure when multiple people were using them. Slightly annoying, but nothing that ruined the experience. All in all, a great spot with a lot going for it. I’d definitely come back — the atmosphere, staff, and setting more than make up for the minor quirks.
Fabulous site. We are members of both caravan club & C&CC. We love to come to a site where you can enjoy being away. Very friendly. Pre order pizzas. Bar if you want it. Family get together. Great facilities. Magical with the fire pits lit. Leave you alone to enjoy. Love it. Second visit. Just organising our next booking. Thank you Ross
