Visited today but wont again. I was halfway through giving my order and the phone started to ring, I was just about to complete my order I was basically told to SHH! and a finger held up as if to say quiet. If I am in person ordering food I think I should take priority over a telephone call, food was good, customer service not so good, you have lost a customer because of this.
I won’t be coming here again. As I caught the two staff members constantly staring at me. They were stood near the counter area, whilst they were talking and I just looked back, caught en both constantly staring at me. Which made me feel very uncomfortable and intimidated. When I made the payment at the til, one was stood near the door and still she continued to stare. I’m absolutely discusted, with there behaviours.
This is a decent enough place and reasonably tasty/deserves 3.5 stars (but not 4). There are three suggestions I would make: 1. While there is nothing wrong with it, I think they could get better quality ingredients for some of their dishes. Particularly sausages on the breakfast (and cook them until a nice brown colour). 2. Be a bit more flexible. Eg if someone asks for fried bread instead of toast on the odd occasion, it can’t be that hard to provide. 3. The younger staff do a decent enough job, but they could do with some training on customer engagement and just being a bit friendlier and smiley (I think this would easily solve other comments on here to that effect). If the owner is reading this, I hope they take these suggestions as well meant / constructive feedback. As I say, I think this place is fine as it is. With a few tweaks, it could be so much better.
Just popped in for a sandwich with my niece. I had a lovely Ham Salad Sandwich and a flat white coffee and my niece had a ham and cheese panini with a Latte. The ingredients were fresh and crunchy and the bread was sooooo soft. Will definitely be back.
Well we loved it - just popped in after a visit to the hospital. Great place to sit and watch the world go by with a nice breakfast or coffee.
