Food is incredible best onion bhajis ever and the rest of the menu spot on. Would thoroughly recommend.
Had the biryani and loved it. The fact it came with raita was great as I would have ordered raita as a side if not. It's the first time I've had one with a little mini naan hat on the top of the pot which was cute, tasty and helped keep the food warm. The garlic naan I ordered as a side was also very good with generous amounts of garlic. It did take a little longer to come than some places but I didn't mind having chance to talk to my friend more. Even 10 minutes makes me impatient normally so I had a protein shake just before leaving the gym to take care of that. I don't mind my food being freshly prepared for me(!) just so long as I know what to expect. A pleasant surprise for a newly done out place to have sufficient soft furnishings to stop it being an echo chamber and the temperature was good even in December.
i ordered the meat sizzler and it was delicious i definitely recommend coming to masala lounge .Staff are lovely , bubbly and welcoming 🙂

Me and my partner stayed at the hotel for the weekend and tried the masala lounge on its first night in Saturday and all icam say is, it was amazing, the food is the best Indian I have ever had, the flavours are amazing and the onion barji bites are the future, the staff are lovely and Ahs the manager is great, A must try when in Halifax
