Great little car park in centre of Halifax. Not many spaces but you can park for out to 10 hrs. The street parking g can be just an hour on some streets. Two hrs costs £1.60 which isn’t bad. 1 hr just a pound. If no space just drive around again. Often one appears.
What a joke of a car park, got a fine of £60, for £1 for 2 hours parking. When paid on a credit card, machine did the contactless noise but did not take payment. The photos on to be PCN shows me entering and leaving within 2 hours, but as I could not show I had paid on my cards, I felt I could not fight my corner. As I am a very decent person, if I had appealed I would have asked to see CCTV of using the paying machine, as the Carpark is ANPR then it is hard to fight if an error occurs. Also I asked the person who paid the parking to check there online banking there was a pending payment but the person had actually been in the same carpark that week. THIS IS JUST A. WARNING TO OTHERS USING THE CARPARK, MAKE SURE YOU GET A RECEIPT.
