Rob has been fantastic and exactly what I was looking for. He helped me understand nutrition and the importance of it. He was there every step of the way in my journey, with his positive energy and enthusiastic messages. Even when I was having bad days, he was there encouraging me to keep going. My nutrition has vastly improved and with that I have noticed a massive difference in my skin, my brain feels less foggy and I feel I have more energy. This is all down to a change in my diet by introducing healthy foods and doing exercise. I have my turmeric with black pepper everyday, saffron, ginger, lemon and more! And it's down to Robs very in depth knowledge of nutrition that has helped me understand the importance and benefits these types of foods have on our body and mind. I began working with Rob at CalderGold Fitness to gain understanding in nutrition. I had been doing a diet that ultimately led to a huge amount of hair loss and needed to be intentional about my food intake. His service in this area was exceptional, personable and his attention to detail was impressive. He kept in touch and answered all my questions throughout, offering friendly advice along the way. Following this I began training with him. His PT sessions matched the same level and quality of service. I have cerebral palsy meaning I have restricted mobility and balance issues, Rob made me feel beyond comfortable which is something I needed when feeling self conscious about my disability. Nothing was too much for Rob and he was always available. His knowledge and expertise are unquestionable. Highly recommended.

Rob is very friendly, professional PT. He pushes you in an encouraging and patient way to get results. I always leave feeling good and that I have had a thorough work out. He helps you to set up a routine you can do on your own and is always there to offer encouragement and to cheer you on. Thanks rob a pleasure to train with.

I was introduced to Rob in late January of 2024. I was overweight and unfit with high blood pressure, borderline high cholesterol and joint problems. During my initial consultation with Rob we talked about my health issues and decided on a programme to reach my goal. I wanted to lose weight, improve body shape and also my general health. After our meeting Rob designed three gym workouts with each one targeting the different main muscle groups. He also asked me to keep a daily food diary. As i was new to strength training Rob worked alongside each workout with me until I was using the correct form and was confident in doing them myself. I emailed Rob my food diaries weekly. He analysed them and replied with detailed nutrition stats that clearly highlighted the nutrients that were missing from my diet along with tips on foods to introduce to rectify any imbalance and improve my specific health issues. By mid April 2024 following Robs workout programme and diet advice I had lost my targeted weight and improved my fitness. My blood pressure and cholesterol readings were normal and my joint pain had reduced significantly. I would not have achieved these results without Robs expert knowledge, enthusiasm and encouragement. I would highly recommend Rob to anyone who wants to lose weight, improve fitness and improve their general health.
