Hillcroft Luxury Bed & Breakfast, Fangfoss, York

Mal was a great host. We were shattered when we arrived after a long drive. He welcomed us and our dog - helping us with where to eat for dinner - the local pub is 2 mins away. Also directing us to the wonderful Jubilee Park for our dog walk. The room was brilliant - loads of space and everything you needed laid on. Spotless too. And such a comfy bed with only an owl to hear - no traffic. Just bliss. The breakfast was delicious and Mal is such a friendly host - what a find. We will definitely return! Highly recommend

On arrival we received a very warm welcome from our host, Mal. Our room was spotless and very comfortable with added touches such as fresh flowers and chocolates. The breakfasts really set us up for the day and were freshly cooked by Mal. We stayed for five nights and felt very much at home. We would thoroughly recommend staying at Hillcroft.

A wonderful stay. Mal is the consummate host, a fine conversationalist who cooks a terrific breakfast. We would not hesitate to book again if in the area.

Another lovely stay with Mal. He is such a wonderful host. Everything is so well organised on arrival. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped with tea, coffee, biscuits etc. Mal always provides a brilliant cooked breakfast with all the extras. Whenever we are in the area, we stay with Mal and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. We highly recommend a stay with Mal.

Good value for money B&B close to the North Yorkshire wolds. Rooms are clean and spacious, owner cooks a great English Breakfast. Bike storage available if needed. I can highly recommend Hillcroft B&B
