Disappointing flat white coffee, really it was just white coffee, no latte art and no smooth microfoam. Not strong coffee. Nothing like the other photos I had seen online. It’s a big place though, with plenty of seating, and it’s dog friendly.

Been trying to have lunch here for a while.The home cooking didn't disappoint, good value and great service too. Being small with high ceilings does make it a little noisy but shouldn't put you off. Love the fact they sell local bread and coffee

We called into Field Cafe on Friday with my elderly mum and Aunt. After a really short wait (the place was packed and never thought to book) we were shown to our table. The menu was great not too much choice but enough. 3 pots of tea 2 gam& mustard sandwiches and a bacon and Brie sandwich was chosen. All served by a lively lady called Danielle. The food was delicious and fresh and plenty. Such a lively atmosphere and the staff all friendly and welcoming. Thus place is amazing and we will definitely be back. Would advise to pre-book especially on a Friday and dogs are welcome so a 5* from me 😍

Very nice place off the beaten track but well worth the visit. Quality food excellent service by mature young at heart ladies where nothing is too much trouble. Would certainly recommend to anyone wanting decent food great service and a good atmosphere 👍

A cafe in a rural setting. Dog friendly. Nice selection of brunch/lunch foods on the menu as well as cakes. The coffee had a good flavour and was a good value. Their small car park fills up quickly but there's wide enough roads around to park your car. Of the things I'd like to see done differently is to set the egg whites slightly more as my egg's white was very runny (but thanks to that the yolk was perfectly runny). I do however hate a solid yolk so I've got to be careful what I am wishing for. There's a public footpath at the end of Field Lane if you fancy stretching your legs. Overall a good place and we'll be back.
