Love this place π Itβs literally our third time coming, While we were out walking we found this place after the rain forced us in βοΈ π Weβve been back voluntarily since and weβll come every time weβre out walking in the area π― Such a nice little pub πΊ We got ourselves involved in the pub quiz on a Sunday too, music was the topic and we enjoyed it! πΆ πΆ π
Didn't eat but the drink was chilled and a lovely pint of inches cider on a sunny day you cannot go wrong. The pub was relaxed atmosphere and a little old worldly, friendly staff and fast service. Beer garden on canal just perfect after a canal walk. Close to.town centre too so shops etc nearby.
Popped in for a pint and ended up having probably the best pub lunch we've ever had! My partner had lasagne and I had a the Cajun halloumi ciabatta and both of us were impressed with the quality of the food. The chef was great, really attentive and you can tell he puts a lot of effort and thought into his cooking. Will definitely be coming back. 10/10 Would recommend
Very welcoming and Cosy and right at the side of the canal.
