We had such a lovely evening at Lala! The Samosa Chaat was absolutely divine full of flavour, texture, and perfectly balanced spices. The Family Garlic Bread was rich, buttery, and aromatic, and all the main dishes in sauce were simply delicious creamy, fragrant, and beautifully presented. The service was excellent fast, professional, and extremely friendly. The manager was also incredibly kind and attentive, making sure everything was just right for us. The only small disappointment were the Lamb Chops, which didn’t quite meet our expectations but everything else more than made up for it. The interior is stunning, elegant, and full of character it’s also a perfect place to take some beautiful photos with the lovely backdrop and decor. Overall, a wonderful dining experience that I would definitely recommend and can’t wait to visit again! 🌸

Great dining experience at Lala today. AJ was really welcoming. The garlic coriander naan was very tasty and went very well with the balti chicken and mushroom dish I ordered. The passionova mocktail was very refreshing with just the right level of sweetness.

PC was absolutely amazing on our special evening. We booked a table for 7pm, for a birthday 2 people, we called to let them know we were going to be late, they were polite and so helpful. We were guided to the bar for a drink and then seated 10 minutes later,. The food was exceptional and the service even better. I cannot thank PC enough. He made my partners birthday so special and was so attentive, with cutlery, birthday gifts, food , drinks and sauces. Thankyou so much PC. We will be back for the food but especially your service. 10000*

This restaurant has potential. Deco is 5*. Front House and managers are lovely, warm and willing but there is lot to improve in terms of service and communication to improve overall experience. If you don’t know about Pakistani cuisine, you won’t know any difference. If you enjoy sizzling lamb karahi or lamb dishes note that lalas serve mostly Mutton small tiny cuts of meat, which makes all the dishes appear bhunna type even though they are all authentically cooked in karahi fashion. Front House need to improve knowledge of dishes as lalas manager said they actually specialised in lamb. Starters served without plates. A long wait between starters and mains. It was too dark to differentiate between mains as everything looked like small cuts of meat the same. It was so funny when the manager asked us to “shuroo Karen” and start food when there were no serving spoons and plates and previous starter grill plates not cleared. Mains were not traditional Pakistani cuisine tasting or ratios of ingredients. Perhaps dishes were to accommodate all. Sundries were hot and delicious. Music was erratic and random on loop same 4 songs stopping and starting. Depression suicidal song, followed by a verse of maz happy bday, Shorty it’s your bday and again depression song on a loop. This summed up the dishes and vibes. What was lovely to see was the White, Asian and mixed communities gather to eat in this restaurant together. Finally toilet hygiene needs to improve with more regular checking. I would not visit this restaurant again for the food but would visit again just to say hi to the staff who made the effort to sincerely listen to feedback. In the end we had a laugh about it all the way back home. It’s the first time we didn’t want the food to be packed.
