Called in today. Was very quiet. Ordered our food. Admittedly we did wait a lot longer than expected but the food that came from the kitchen was beautiful. Definitely worth the wait and 10/10 to the girl that served us. Will definitely recommend
Popped in on Sunday and the bar Lady (Mel) said we were too late for Sunday dinner, but she went into the kitchen and said she has enough food to make us a dinner each. So grateful because we were so hungry. The meal was lovely and the pub had a really good atmosphere about it. Everyone was really chatty. The staff were approachable and humorous. Great little find ππ»
The steak pie was rock hard, dry and burnt. There were no beans to go with the kids meals - so we went to the coop up the road - bought two tins and delivered them to the kitchen ourselves! We waited over an hour for the food. The lady serving us was nice, but on her own she was struggling to serve the drinkers, serve food, and to fit the kids ice creams on the table because she hadnβt cleared any plates. The pub was warm and busy -
We came in for a drink and to watch the match. Lovely atmosphere, food being served looked delicious. Only let down was the barmaid, couldn't remember our drinks order and was slow. We have been here previously and had no issues with service.
Lovely people all round. Recommend the pub quiz. Good value is a bonus!
