It was my first ever use of a public charger. Easy access to the charging bays, which were clearly marked. Instructions on the machine were clear and easy to follow. I didn’t seem to be get anywhere near a 50kW rate, but that might the car. I have nothing to compare against. A successful experience.

While charging worked fine, it was ridiculously expensive, almost exactly 2x what I normally pay for rapid charging. I only put in enough to get me somewhere cheaper. Location's terrible too, right in the far corner of the car park, away from the shops and services. I wouldn't recommend these chargers for anything other than an emergency.

As I didn’t have a BP Pulse account when I needed a charge, I attempted to use my credit card but that was not recognised. Due to that I required to install the app in order to use the charger, which I didn’t really want to do. However, needs must. Once I had installed the app, and placed a quantity of money on it, it was puzzling to know when the charger was to be inserted into the car socket, clearly better instructions could be posted on the charger. I was surprised that even though I had chosen the 300 watt charger, it only charged my car at 70 to 80 watts, though I suppose that could be due to the car's infrastructure.

Wasn't happy due to the £60 fee before getting the electricity
