Wow. This cake was incredible, down to every feature! Soph was amazing too, communication was great, she really made sure she got the brief of what we wanted and over delivered! Everyone commented on how great the cake was too! Will definitely be using her again in the future!

After being quoted elsewhere over £800 as a starting figure for our wedding cake, with more to be added depending on exact design, delivery and set up, we had given up on the prospect of a wedding cake. Deep down we were disheartened as we both wanted the tradition on our day, but with all of the other absurd wedding day costs, we really couldn’t justify so much on a cake. After seeing (and tasting!) one of Soph’s amazing cakes at a family wedding not long after, I reached out to inquire and our wedding cake dream started making a comeback! Soph was so professional and flexible, responding with an approximate price to be secured with a deposit, explaining that final details could be confirmed with a final quote after our complimentary tasting session in January! We secured our date and pulled together some Pinterest ideas to take to our tasting session with Soph. It was amazing to visit Soph’s shop/kitchen/bake house (?!), her creative flair was clear while she took the time to understand exactly what we wanted… In the last few weeks towards the wedding, people asked me what I was most excited for and I meant it when I said the cake. I knew that Soph had ‘understood the assignment’ where I had this vision of the cake in prime location in our venue; seeing the cake for the first time genuinely took my breath away. It just tied in so perfectly to the whole aesthetic of the day and we already know those cake cut photos will be treasured forever. If you are on the fence about your wedding cake, please know that you don’t need to take out a small loan to have a beautiful cake - just put your trust in Soph! Thank you Soph for everything, I am already trying to think of what big birthdays we have coming up so we can schedule another one!

Sophie did our wedding cake and all we can say is wow! Being gluten free we struggled to find a local supplier in Doncaster but got recommended by a friend to Sophie who had done her wedding. From cake testing to design to it being set up using flowers left by our florist the whole process was a breeze from start to finish! The cake was delicious and unlike most gluten free alternatives you would never know a difference! Thanks again for helping make our day so perfect! Mr and Mrs Hunter

Amazing baking. Went into the new cafe today and got the cheese puff. Ask for it to be heated up. It was incredible. Her own homemade cheese mixture was to die for. The vegan bakes are also like nothing I’ve had before. Moist, don’t crumble into nothing just amazing.

From the very beginning, Sophie was absolutely wonderful. She instantly put me at ease with her kind, professional manner and really took the time to listen to what I wanted. I felt completely comfortable with her and knew straight away I could trust her with such an important part of our big day. She was so personable and reassuring throughout the whole process — nothing ever felt like too much trouble. On the day, she arrived and set up everything so professionally, making the whole experience seamless. And when I saw the cake — wow. It looked absolutely stunning, better than I ever imagined! But most importantly… the taste. The flavours were incredible. The toffee and lemon layers in particular were a huge hit — so rich, moist, and full of flavour. All of our guests were raving about how delicious it was and how every single bite was perfect. It really was the best wedding cake I’ve ever had (and not just because it was mine!). The quality was amazing, especially at such a reasonable cost. I truly wouldn’t trust anyone else now to do such a beautiful job. Sophie went above and beyond, and I’m so grateful to have had her as part of our special day. Highly, highly recommended! 💛🍰
