As a musician, I've been fascinated by high-end audio for over 50 years, since I first encountered quad gear in the early 1980s. The Spinning Room is 100% unique in that it offers the absolute best equipment for music lovers at all price points. Some of the brands are so niche I've never heard of them, BUT it's a whole different level of audio, like discovering a Michelin 3-star restaurant. Paul and Curtis possess an extraordinary amount of experience and knowledge. Crucially, their attitude is not just to shift boxes, but rather to assist each person to find the very best listening experience for themselves. The Spinning Room is quite unique and I highly encourage anyone who loves music to check them out and find out for themselves!

Just had the best time in Paul’s shop today. As someone afflicted with audiophilia it was a pleasure to speak to someone so passionate about all things hi-fi. Paul’s shop is a wonderful mix of both high end kit and more accessible entry level equipment. Warm, approachable, engaging and hugely knowledgeable, Paul is more than happy to spend time talking to his customers. The location in Springfield Mill is perfect as this is a destination in itself and his shop’s proximity to Record Plant makes this a one stop shop for vinyl and hi-fi. For auditioning and buying hi-fi I think The Spinning Room is second to none. Go visit, then tell your friends!

I couldn’t be happier with the pair of speakers that I bought and they made it so easy to see and test the ones that I wanted.

This shop is so unique because it's run by an independent person who cares about audio They have brands you won't find in Richer sounds. Shops cafes bars etc. Art Gallery on 1st floor 1912 mill is really worth a look.
