Verisure Alarms for Home & Business - Leeds

Great system which we have both in our business and home. When the alarm had been triggered (by accident our end) Verisure were quick to asses what was happening and called to let us know, reassuring us it was a false alarm. Matt Wilkinson did the quote and installation at both the business and home, and he was very friendly, knowledgeable and discussed the best options for what we needed. We would highly recommend the service.

Used Verisure for a little under 3 years now. The original sale was good, other than it was full of loads of false promises. I'm pretty good at cutting through the noise, so I shrugged most of the patter off as salesmanship and purely focussed on features. Id imagine it draws others in to expect a product that doesn't exist. The actual devices they use are poor quality, limited functionality, and twice the price of that you can buy yourself online. Ultimately you pay for the overall package I guess. BUT, laughably, they charge you for the devices! I paid £500 at a "substantial discount". For that money I could have secured every corner in a 50 meter radius of my house, and get free lifetime app support.... The product itself, in short, is 'meh', ok, does a job. The app features have barely developed in the time I was with them, with key features still not available that I have FREE with cheap devices I've bought online. You can't set up additional arming modes. You're stuck with full or part. Fine for a standard 2 up, 2 down, starts creaking if you have any other external buildings you want to secure. The bell box, barely audible from outside, if an intruder politely closes the door behind them, no one would know...anyway, lots of things I could bang on about that just should exist for a premium solution. Which at the end of the day is what this is. This all brings us to today, where Ive come to an end of being willing to pay for an average product. Every time I call them up I get a different answer. Termination is 1 month, next call its 2 months, next call we'll come out review the system and if you dont want it just cancel. Its just poor service to be honest. Ill give it to them, everyone is always amazingly polite, and seemingly wanting to help. But what does it say about their staff training?...Im meant to trust them with the security of my home, and pay a hefty wedge for it. Ive moved to a small local firm. 24/7 monitoring is over half the price of my verisure annual cost. I have full control of the devices in and out of my home, and Im not tied to an poor app.

Honestly, I was initially satisfied with the system, but the last week has been nothing but a headache. My doorbell keeps dying every 5 days or so, and despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue, the support team insists it’s not the doorbell (though it’s obvious that it is). There have been times when I’ve left the house, only to come back and find the doorbell dead—I have no idea who’s been near my property. They’ve had me on lengthy calls with my broadband provider, claiming the issue stems from poor signal, and then sent me back and forth through endless settings changes. I simply don’t have time for this—I run my own business and work seven days a week. Despite repeatedly explaining the issue, they refuse to replace the doorbell, suggesting everything else instead. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience. If this isn’t resolved within 48 hours, I will likely cancel my contract.
