Excellent independent gym in the heart of Pudsey, well equipped and expertly run by Terry Gilchrist who has an great track record fitness and well-being. Unpretentious, friendly and supportive environment whether you are following your own programme, group training or 121 PT. If like me you’re a bit of a late starter on your fitness journey (I joined aged 45) Apex is the place to begin! Highly recommend over a faceless gym franchises any day of the week. Here people know your name and will say hello 🙋♂️ there is zero hassle and it’s never too busy so you’re not waiting to use equipment. All the PTs are great and dedicated to your goals.
Been training at Apex for the last 3 years and it's a fantastic gym. Month on month the top quality equipment has been added too and it's now packed with amazing kit. Never too busy, no hanging around to get on anything and a really friendly atmosphere. Owner Terry is amazing, would highly recommend PT sessions with him to help you either feel comfortable in a gym environment if it's been a while or to get you heading towards your goals. He's so approachable, got over 20 years of experience, so knows his stuff, and is always on hand to help out if needed. There's are several HIIT type classes each weak that are free for members, great is you want to benefit from a group PT session.
Apex is a great gym with an excellent selection of equipment and limited membership meaning it never gets busy. Very friendly staff, welcoming and relaxed
By far the best personal training in Leeds!! I started training with Terry before he opened Apex and enjoyed hearing about the plans for a new gym and the progress that had been made along the way and have been absolutely blown away by the level of detail he’s put into this gym. He’s left absolutely nothing out and the equipment here is fantastic. It’s so lovely to visit a gym that is spotlessly clean, and everything is very well maintained, meaning nothing looks tired/old or overly used. The personal training here is fantastic, no matter what your fitness level, goals and desires. Terry is very knowledgeable and is able to advise on everything from injury rehab, nutrition, conditioning, strength and endurance training and so much more.
Lovely gym, open 24 hours. Great system of booking in meaning the gym isn’t super busy and waiting for equipment etc also no one filming constantly, really good gym with enough kit.
