Popped in twice recently for pumpkins and an autumn wreath. Both times I've been greeted with warm welcomes and smiles all round, and even an offer to help me carry the largest (proper monster of a) pumpkin back to the car. Very impressed with this traditional little grocer; a credit to the Farsley community!
love this place! I've started buying all of our fresh fruit and veg from here instead of the supermarket and it's miles better. really nice family-run business, too - always feels better knowing where you're money's going! it is obviously a bit more expensive overall, but it's so worth it...we were fed-up of poor quality fruit and veg going mouldy within a day or two, for e.g. also, these are just a few snaps of the exterior - there's loads more inside as well.
I won a hamper of fruit from Sutcliffes at a Bingo Event at Old Woolen. The produce was delicious specifically the watermelon and kiwi - i have since shopped with this grocer and their produce has never disappointed.
