Having moved to the area about 1 year ago, we went for quiz night. The questions were reasonable for regular quizzers. We came joint 1st with 21/25 and won drinks tokens. My husband was happy with a choice of 2 hand-pulled beers. I was happy with a choice of several premium lagers on tap. The management and regulars are welcoming and friendly.

The meal was lovely, only one slight complaint and this is just our preference, we do not like butter and milk in mashed potatoes nor do I like roast potatoes. So unfortunately for me, I left my mash,the one thing I had been looking forward to. Also, found they had a poor selection of deserts. Just one to choose from. Ginger sponge and custard,

Bloomin fantastic. Warm atmosphere, great staff and landlords, and good beer... The Dirty Tackle ale was delicious! Entertainment most weekends. Had a great night!! Well worth a visit and I will definitely be back.
