Park View Fisheries

This is an apparently a ‘LARGE’ chips for £2.70! Funny thing is they do 2 sizes of chips smaller than this, can’t imagine how many you get on them. Had bigger kids meals for my 4 year old from numerous other fish and chip shops which were also cheaper. I could understand if the quality was amazing but it really wasn’t. Severely disappointed. Won’t be returning. I highly advise you don’t waste your money here unless you have it to waste and aren’t hungry.

I am sorry!!! I moved locally four years ago and only heard about this place two years ago. Despite me wanting to try this place our paths never crossed due to my work hours. Well today I managed to get down here! I didn't know what to order but the friendly staff helped me... Even with the sauces...I got mushy peas gravy and curry a in one tub!!! Genius idea!!! I.got home and boy was I happy. Still wrapped in newspaper how it should be and what smells like fat dripping, correct me if I'm wrong. Chips was shift and slightly golden goes they should be, fish... Little bit dry, however the batter is really tasty. The sauce combo was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend, and wish I started coming years ago

EEH BY GUM, At first look a small and questionable place,Really good fish & Chips cooked fresh while you wait .served with a smile the people are polite up north even asked if I wanted scarps ( bits of left over fish batter) served in newspaper worth driving the 150 miles. I will be back next Thursday, me duck
