Description

Each Gatehouse comfortably accommodates up to four adults in two large and luxurious en-suite bedrooms, a spacious and relaxing sitting/dining room and a very well-equipped kitchen.

The sitting room and bedrooms have great AV facilities including TV/DVD/CD/Radio and the adjoining bathrooms and kitchens are wired for sound! Books, games, magazines and WiFi are provided.

The luxurious bedrooms have handmade superking beds, one bedroom in each apartment can be made up as a twin, which are dressed with lovely Egyptian cotton bedlinen and feather or hypoallergenic bedding depending upon your preference.

Their en-suite bath and shower rooms have double ended baths or walk in showers, toe-warming underfloor heating and are finished with fluffy towels, wrap around bathrobes and Molton Brown toiletries.

The kitchens are beautifully equipped whether you are preparing a gourmet meal or just a gin & tonic, and the cupboards contain everything from the glass and china to the lemon squeezer and corkscrew!
Outside our guests find masses of private parking space and the gardens. Each apartment has its own pretty private walled garden furnished with tables and chairs which is perfect for quiet drinks and al fresco eating.

Rudding Gates is defined by the level of service provided and care taken with each booking and throughout our guests stay. Attention to detail ensures a choice of beds and feather or hypoallergenic bedding and a thoughtful welcome; the provision of fresh milk and OJ, tea, coffee and mineral water and the offer of a pre-arrival shopping service.

Appointments can be made for our guests at the Estate's Private Training Gym and Treatment Rooms, with beauty treatments by Helen Cole. Please request more information when you make a booking.

Hairdryers are provided in every bedroom and emergency dental or shaving supplies are available so do let us know if you forget them.

Through the Gates is Follifoot village. A pretty Yorkshire village with two pubs, a Post Office shop and traditional cricket club and the start of many lovely countryside walks. Follifoot is wonderfully located for trips to the Moors and Dales and the many historic and cultural tourist attractions that Yorkshire has to offer. Harrogate, with it's wonderful shops, restaurants and facilities is only three miles away and can be reached easily by car or the local bus service.

The climate is Yorkshire's so boots and wellies are advised for country walks and boot trays and a large umbrella can be found in each apartment just in case!

Yorkshire is becoming more and more famous for its food and guests can enjoy the excellent local restaurants, many featuring locally grown and produced specialities on their menu’s, and shopping in the local food specialists and at the regular farmers markets.

In our ‘Client Guide’, which can be found in each apartment, there is our list of ‘tried & tested’ local pubs & restaurants where we are happy to make reservations for our guests. All of our guests also receive a special voucher offering 10% off their food and drink bill at the Clocktower Restaurant at Rudding Park.

Since their refurbishment and opening as apartments, Rudding Gates have been awarded Five Star status by both Visit Britain and the AA, won the White Rose Self Catering Holiday of the Year award and most recently a coveted Enjoy England Gold Award for exceptional quality of accommodation and outstanding customer service.
