Arrived after a long day's walking and was almost moved to tears. The pod was easy to get into, warm, comfortable. It came with WiFi and plugs. The site was beautiful, a pond lit with string lights and outdoor seating. The bathrooms were immaculate, close by and warm showers. The cafe was open early, the breakfast was big, hot and cheaper than pub food. Just visiting seaways alone, was worth the walk. Very impressed.

Stayed in the Silver Birch lodge for two nights whilst in the area for a charity motorcycle ride out. Very warm welcome from the staff, great location with a very tranquil feeling thanks to the fish pond in the centre of the camping & glamping area to the rear of the cafe and the trees around the perimeter of the property. The glamping lodges are very comfortable and well equipped, plus there is a seperate kitchen area, shower and toilets, plus barbecue area for use whilst camping or glamping.

Had a fab last minute one night stay despite the horrendous rain and wind!. Stayed cosy and warm and pretended to be kids again πŸ˜† Will definitely be back, sooner rather than later. Thank you Amanda Jopling

We camped here for 2 nights. The owners were very friendly and communication was good of how to get ourselves pitched on the site There is a short little walk from where the car is parked to where the pitches for the tents on the campsite are situated. There are 2 tent pitches - which are suited to medium or small sized tents. I'm not sure if you'd be able to use a tent box style tent whilst staying here. There are shower and toilet facilities, which are spotless. These are non gender specific - and each one (there are 2) has a shower, sink and toilet within them. The water is nice and hot (although one day, we did notice the water pressure dropped when the other shower was on) There is also a small kitchen area - with a hob, microwave, fridge, sink and 2 seated benches. There were also some mugs to use too. This was really good, as we used this area to make our morning coffees. There is also a covered area, with 3 brick built BBQs. Although we didn't use this - we thought it was a really good idea, and it would have been something we would have made more use of, had the weather been warmer on the weekend of our stay. We made full use of the cafe whilst there, and enjoyed a decent breakfast each day before heading out on our adventures. It's a popular destination for many of the local bikers, so it was good to have a look at the many different bikes that had turned up through the weekend. There are 2 quite busy roads nearby, but this was never an issue - but if you're a light sleeper, bring some ear plugs. This was a really good find - and we'd definitely come back and stay when visiting the area.
