Stonebeck Gate Farm.

We had a great family time at Keepers Watch. Very tranquil and out of the way in a beautiful part of the country. Jill was on hand to ensure we had everything we needed and her breakfast pack was divine. We would all recommend the shepherds hut - very cosy and the hot tub was a favourite of the kids.

Well….what can I say other than we had a fabulous time. We thoroughly enjoyed everything, taking in the incredible views, walking on the moors, relaxing in the hot tub, relaxing in the hut with the fire on just reading the paper and playing games. There is no phone signal here so get used to it, along with the stamina using the wheelbarrow to wheel your bags back to the car. Last night was very stormy and wet but we felt safe and cosy in our hut. We went to Graze on the Green for brekkie, twice and it was so nice. The bed is so beautifully comfortable, and the peace and tranquility of it all makes this so memorable, it will be hard getting back into a work routine. Our host Jill & Partner were just superb who made our stay so special.

We had the most relaxing, peaceful stay in the Woodman’s Hut. The location is so private and beautiful, the hut itself was perfect, it had everything we needed, the bed was really comfortable and the outdoor bath with the candles and fairy lights was so romantic! Jill and her family were so friendly and helpful, they went above and beyond to help us out! We would love to come again

A wonderful place to escape from the world, if only for a short while. Time stands still as you watch the weather change and animals walk slowly past you. We saw ducks, rabbits, pheasants, and 🦌 from our veranda as we enjoyed being ‘switched off’ from a busy world.

The farm cafe was a lovely pit stop during my walk. The coffee was delicious. Although I didn’t have any they have what looked like very delicious homemade pastries. Service was super friendly and attentive. They have a few tables inside and a couple outside. The view over the fields is beautiful. Will be back!
