Springhill Farm Camping and Caravanning Club Site

Lovely location and really quite. Couple of ideal improvements would be a motion detection light near door to access showers and toilets as it is hard to see in the dark. No heating in the shower block area means it is cold in there and makes you not want to spend anymore than the 10 minute allowance in the shower for £1. We have been here a couple of times and choose it for the location and the tranquility

Nice little site tucked away from any main roads. Very quiet. Good facilities kept nice and clean.

Took a short break at this site, with my wife and dog from Thursday 11th to Sunday 14th July, and have to say it was fantastic. The site was lovely and quiet, had immaculately clean facilities and beautiful surroundings. We had advance notice that you have to pay for the showers, however, £1 for 10 minutes of hot powerful water is nothing. Sadly, the weather was not on our side, but that didn't stop us taking a trip to Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay, and then a day binge watching Netflix. The owners have a lovely little snug room to use and have put a very useful folder on the table with loads of information about the local area, and beyond. The buses are quite regular to Whitby and you can flag one down from the top of the track from the site. Great communication from the owners made this a lovely experience and would hope to get back in the future. Highly recommend.

Excellent small campsite in a beautiful location. Pitches are large and as flat as is achievable in a hillside location. Good location for visiting coast and north Yorkshire Moors . Thoughtful extras make this an excellent site, such as providing "the Snug". This is a room by the toilet block with sofas, TV, books, board games etc if the weather is poor. It also has hairdryers and a fridge/freezer, very useful for campers.

What a beautiful spot, really enjoyed 2 visits here. Facilities are lovely and clean. Peaceful and quiet. Would definitely recommend and return
