The Ganton Greyhound

Back from a fantastic stay at the Greyhound. Our room was beautiful with a fabulous 4 poster bed and high quality bedding and towels plus a very nice seating area. The breakfasts were of a very high standard and the service superb. Steve and Sharon, the owners, were fantastic, so welcoming and caring. The Greyhound is a wonderful inn with some fabulous features and is a credit to the hard work that Steve, Sharon and the team obviously put in to making it so special.

Warm and friendly welcome and service from the owners and their team. The beds are excellent and rooms very smart all round, with little touches like earplugs in case you are bothered by traffic noise from the nearby road - I'm a light sleeper and it wasn't an issue in our room which was the closest to the road. Great food for dinner and breakfast too - they clearly care about what they are doing here and it's a great place with a nice beer garden out back too.

Met chap but not his Mrs. Comfortable bed but it was a queen size with 2 double duvets. Nice and quiet room. Lovely breakfast but I was looking forward to continental. Why don't people get offered fried bread. I can't stand hash browns. Would've liked a bit more butter for toast. The damp on ceiling in bathroom is causing a strange smell.

Super friendly welcome, ample parking, lovely rooms, and a great breakfast. Extremely conveniently situated for exploring the North Yorkshire Moors, Scarborough, and Ganton Golf Club.

Stayed here last night with partner and our fur baby Boris. Everyone very welcoming and friendly including the guests. Can't give enough praise on the whole experience absolutely enjoyed every minute Of it and Boris was known by everyone by the time we left today so we will definitely be staying here again and will recommend to anyone needing somewhere to stay going in there direction as a first option.
