Great church, we learned the following on the Sunday remembrance service: 'People treat prayer as a 999 call For emergencies We should always take our problems to God. Psalms 18:6 NKJV [6] In my distress I called upon the Lord, And cried out to my God; He heard my voice from His temple, And my cry came before Him, even to His ears. But we don't just use our phones for emergencies. We shouldn't use phones for emergencies only. God wants us to talk to him about everything. What we're thankful for, what we're excited about, tell him him how much we love him. If you had a friend that you only asked "help me, help me" you wouldn't like that. Prayer isn't only for emergencies. It's talking to our father. We can talk to you about anything all the time. We thank you' Our table is an open table for Anyone who loves the lord Jesus Christ Today we remember the fallen, (for our freedom), even today people drive past avoiding that sacrifice. Today we remember his death , to take away our sin.
A friendly welcome. A well established church in a small East Leeds town. Bible centred teaching from a rota of regular preachers. There is a very limited number of parking spaces, but there is a large free car park behind Barclays bank nearby.
Warm, friendly, they made what could have been very sad event, into a time to celebrate the memory of Peter Thank you
A friendly place where the gospel is preached.
We had a great time at messy church
