Huddle Coffee

Lovely independent coffee shop. Coffee was spot on, and of plenty different sizes, the large is quiet big though! Lots of food options too which I hope to try soon. You can sit downstairs with dogs, but only in a certain area, nice idea, not everyone wants to be next to a dog. There is more seating upstairs too 👍

Lovely to finally have an independent coffee shop in Garforth. Would love to see their gluten-free options separated from other cakes so they would be safe to order if you're a coeliac. There is an upstairs area with soft seating but there are no signs so people were leaving thinking there's no space. Also - a nappy changing table should be a must as many families are coming in with babies.

I went in the other day (4th January 2026) at 12:21PM, the atmosphere was fine and I liked how they have a dog friendly table and all dat but like, the servers seemed a bit miserable and like they didnt want to be there, the drink itself tasted fine, however it was probably a bit too cold for my taste. I was expecting it to be slightly more expensive than a larger coffee shop but HOLY GUACAMOLE it was £4.30 for a medium and the cup was only 3/4 full, with the remainder being cream. I understand it is difficult for a small business to compete with the prices of titans such as the mighty Greggs or Costa, but it was a little too expensive and it would probably stop me from going back Attached is a minecraft recreation I just whipped up.

I enjoy a coffee here, and the cakes look good. The menu is expanding, which is great. However, today, I was disappointed to see none of the staff using tongs to handle the food. After watching staff members wipe their nose, touch the till etc, I would expect nothing less. Tongs are in the cake cabinet and the marshmallow jar, etc, but still, unwashed hands were used to serve the food. For this reason we won't be visiting again. There are no baby changing facilities. From the conversation/disagreements between the three staff, I got the impression that everyone was related - it didn’t do anything for the atmosphere.

1st time visit to this newly opened cafe. Staff very friendly, really well done out. Good coffee & great cake! Will definitely be back as important to support local independents.
