The staff were all very good and patient and informative of the process and did everything possible to accommodate our particular requests . Stuart was the person we had most dealings with and he was always polite, professional and attentive and was very good on the actual day of the funeral which helped us tremendously .

I chose Hartley and Son as my mum had always preferred family run funeral directors. This was the first time I had been responsible for organising a funeral, including the registration process. James was superb in advising me on the process and helping me to reach informed decisions. In the end I was able to feel proud of the send off we gave to mum, a major help in the healing process. James and his team ensured that everything ran smoothly on the day. Thank you!

I could not fault the service offered to me in a most distressing time. Every member of staff was wonderful, but I mainly dealt with Russell, who was brilliant. From finding the perfect coffin for my dad , with aeroplanes on, to just making everything seamless, thankyou.
