Outstanding Service from Pickfords We recently used Pickfords to help us move home, and they were absolutely amazing from start to finish. The team not only moved everything from our lockup but also from our apartment, and they handled every challenge with ease. They managed to get large pieces of furniture around tight corners without a single issue, and did it all with such professionalism. The guys were incredibly helpful, polite, and friendly throughout the entire move. At our new house, they took great care to protect our carpets, placed boxes in the rooms we wanted, and treated all our possessions with the utmost care. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I honestly couldn’t recommend Pickfords highly enough – they are punctual, hardworking, and extremely professional. Pickford’s did my house move into storage today, ready for international shipping at a later date. Communication was always spot on and Emma was very patient and knowledgeable in getting everything set up for us. The movers, Connor and Joel were brilliant. Very friendly and professional. Last week was moving week for us, not just a simple move, but an international one, packing up our life after thirty eight years in this house to emigrate to Australia to join our children and grandchildren there. It’s been a long time since our last international move so we were a little fearful of how we would cope as we’re now in our seventies. Slaw and Kyle turned up on Monday. They were two lovely fellows, polite, considerate and good humoured. Nothing was too much trouble and they maintained their cheerfulness throughout until everything was done late on Friday. They took a great deal of care with all our belongings, tried to leave us little areas of comfort and calm for as long as possible and in exchange for regular cups of tea worked extremely hard with minimal breaks. Well done and thank you. From the first point of contact with Pickfords, we felt we were in good hands and were kept well informed through the estimating and quote process. We just need the shipping to go smoothly and now hope for a similarly efficient delivery and unpack when our household effects arrive in Australia in 2026

Cannot fault Pickfords - From start to finish they were great! Jessica was super helpful when initially arranging a date for the move (there was a last minute change of plan regarding our completion date.) The Move Team (Steve, Connor and Adam) were a great crew - They absolutely grafted and worked so quickly. They made light work of moving our large/heavy furniture from our 3 storey house. Would absolutely use Pickfords again and have recommended them to friends/family who are due to move.
