P Barrett roofing

The guys did a great job installing a new flat roof on my garage. Did exactly what they said, when they said they would do it and were all tidy and polite. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thanks.

I contacted P Barrett roofing to come out and have a look at what I thought was a leaking roof as that's what another roofer had told me and give me a quote. The previous quote had said I needed all sorts of work doing, Paul who came out on time when he said he would fully checked the roof and told me that It was a bit of condensation build up and didn't need any work doing thus saving me a fortune just before Xmas. . Great honest guy and with very helpful advice. When I do need any work doing, Paul and his team will be the first people I call. Thanks guys.

We called P Barrett as we had a issue with what we thought was a leaking roof. One firm told us we needed to retile the whole roof at a cost of £3000.00. Steven took one look and knew the issue was not a leaking roof. We recently had the loft lagged and this was causing the loft to sweat. Steven put in 4 roof venting tiles and the issue was cleared within 48 hours. Great company and will recommemed P. Barrett and Steven to my family and friends.

An honest review - Whilst the work was completed to satisfaction, the timbers surrounding the rooflight replacement were just taken off and reinstalled (which were absolutely knackered), when I asked if he could come back and change them (I said I'd pay for the timbers) I was rudely told no and "we've never had anyone have a problem". I paid for the work once he took away the old materials he left on site which was about a week later to which he knocked on my door to ask for payment (i was out) to which he then called me a 'pr*ck' to my housemate who answered the door. 6 months later I'd discovered they had put one of the tiles back which was cracked in half which was causing a damp problem, I rang him maybe 10 times and each time he'd tell me he'd come this week to fix it, eventually I gave up and just paid somebody else to come fix the problem. Did the work to satisfaction but very poor customer service.

Quickly provided quote for new roof and then arrived to install shortly after asked to go ahead. scaffolding, equipment all arrived promptly and despite the winter weather work completed as soon as possible and all scaffolding, equipment etc removed promptly.
