Wanted 8 x 4ft tanalised batons for fencing . Needed cutting into 4ft x 30 mm , I was in the premises 40 minutes ordering this the member of staff couldn’t seem to grasp what I wanted , I had taken an old piece with me . I rang in the afternoon to see if it was done and he didn’t know what I was talking about but eventually remembered. He then rang back 30 minutes later to say it was ready, I went to collect it and when I got home was told my husband that it was soft plained wood and not what we asked for !!

What a joke this place is. Wanted 45 pound for a sheet of timber which is fairly OK, but then wanted 60 pound and 3 days to cut it in half on a table saw, overpriced jokers. Previously had quotes for other work and they are extortionate, would recommend to go elsewhere.

called in today to get some 4x1 treated timber, very polite and helpful member of staff helped me. Felt a bit old school, which is how things should be....definitely recommend .

New windows and new front composite door fitted before Christmas (2018). Highly satisfied. Competent, skilled workmen. Minimal disruption, clean working, worked hard to get the job done. Used this company a few years ago and the service was great. Now got another wood project in Tadcaster, so will be making contact in the next few days.
