You know it's good when the place is dim, nice music too. Lovely place. Very nice esp for seafarers around
Efficient 'down to earth' barstaff. A friendly landlord I've personally witnessed go above and beyond to help his customers that are often "not pub related issues." Great sounding sound system too, lacking in other pubs in the surrounding area. Will definitely be back.
Landlord is an absolute legend, enjoyed some nice pints and cracking warm scratchings. But later when I got stranded as no taxis he locked the pub up and gave me a lift back to Premier Inn. Everyone should support this well run business rather than the Spoons over the road 👏 👍
It must be good I don't even remember going. I can't comment on the food or the service but it must have been a good atmosphere but maybe good old Google has got it wrong. Maybe I went to the library next door ;)
Proper English pub with a good atmosphere.
