This was a fantastic pub for drinking, with a large interior that lets light right in through the massive windows! The aesthetic is pretty such as the wallpaper and images with classic humorous pub lines appear on the wall. Counter is smartly presented and the seating is definitely up to scratch, where I had a clean pint of Staropramen!
We recently held my granddaughter’s christening after-party at the Peacock Pub and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, both with setting up beforehand and tidying up afterwards. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the venue was clean and well-kept, and the prices were very reasonable. A big thank you to the team for helping make the day so special!
Where do you start as soon as I walked in I had a bad feeling about the venue people outside drinking on the roads most of them looked as if they should be getting an early night ready to be back in school the next morning. Also quite a few people seemed to have a cold all the sniffles what was going on maybe the white powder was as crushed up paracetamol to help relieve the symptoms
Shockingly bad, a real scourge on the port of Goole. A cesspit of blatant drug dealing and use. Drinkers out in the street. Seriously didn’t feel safe here. Think about the Jockey and make it ten times worse. I’ve sent my videos of the place to licensing, hopefully they take it seriously and shut it down before there’s a fatality
Best pub in Goole. Always welcome, Always friendly. Great landlady. Recently had some work done to the interior to make it more modernised, looks great.
