Small with cask, and craft beer. Plus ciders wine and sprits. A proper pub. Consistently excellent, with a great range of ever changing cask ales plus friendly staff and customers. It continues to excel at at what they do best. Fantastic Ale and even greater company. Recently changed hands but still the same quality ales.
Never been in this place before but heard plenty about it from family. Tiny little micro pub but has a great vibe. Husband tried the Yorkshire heart pint and loved it, but said any more than two was too much. Great taste though as even I had a sip but then stuck to prosecco. We totally enjoyed our time here. Locals all very welcoming and friendly and by the end of the evening it was a whole pub event!
Busy micro pub with 4 decent cask ales on
This should be your first port of call in Goole. Named after coal containers which went from the Yorkshire coal fields to Goole by river. This place has 5 cask beers and 25 or so bottled beers. Very reasonable prices, between 2.20 and 2.60 a pint. No wifi yet. Recommended
Superb little place. Great choice of beers and a good selection of real ales. Well worth a visit.
