I was looking for a good halal restaurant in the Yorkshire/Selby area and came across Charcoal Grill, just 23 minutes from my address — and it was absolutely worth the trip. The staff were warm and welcoming, the service was impressively fast, and the menu was reasonably priced. Most importantly, the food was a solid 10/10. I’ll definitely be coming back again!
Overall 4.5* Fantastic restaurant. Other half has told me about this place as he works in the area. Managed to try the place out tonight. He has mentioned and owners confirmed they have moved from next door as they expanded and it's a family business. Buzzing atmosphere, friendly staff. Huge portions! Knocked it down ½ star as the chicken was on the dry side Would definately come back
The food was delicious and very nice and helpful staff.
Garbage!! Don't waste your money on this restaurant. Our first visit, only 12 people in at 7pm & waited ages to be served clap cold rubbish food. Far better from a local takeaway.
Lovely friendly, helpful staff and the best Kebab I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend
