I only stopped to get a quick meal home. It's tasty and still hot. Good and soft chips, tasty meat and crunchy salad :) I'd definitely go back again.

Worst chippy I’ve been to Had haddock and chips, The fish was so chewy and woolly as if it’d been sat in a freezer for weeks. The batter was wet and slimy on the inside. Chips were undercooked

Never again! Ordered 4 large haddock and 2 portions of chips. The fish were ready before the chips, so they were left on a hot plate, wrapped in paper, until the chips were ready. As a result, when we came to unwrap the fish all the batter was soggy and stuck to the paper, with very little on the fish. Particularly annoyed, because we had bought these for visitors. The fish was so chewy most of it had to be thrown away. This place used to be one of the best, but won't risk using it again.

I hate posting bad reviews because I know they can hurt businesses - but I got fish and chips for me and my partner this evening and they were so bad I couldn’t eat mine. He left half of his. Threw them away. Was over £18, what a waste. The fish was not fresh, it was grey and woolly, batter was slimy and soggy and chips undercooked. Wish we’d gone to Kings but they were closed by the time we got here. Service was attentive and friendly a shame the food didn’t match.

Average at best to be honest, I can only comment on the fish and chips which is no where near as good as its competitors. Please improve fish and chips and make them less greasy. Staff are extremely nice but food needs improvement.
