Ordered a special for take away... It was very oily and had not had time to drain properly, the batter was very thick and had been cooked on one side only leaving it too hard and crispy, chips were generally cold, thin and small. Service was fine, however based on my personal experience, I would not return, in mitigation perhaps they were having a bad day.

The food is always cooked to perfection—crispy, golden batter with tender fish inside, and chips that are hot, fluffy, and full of flavor. Lovely experience, service was what you expected, asked if I wanted fish putting in as I walked in Batter wasn’t really greasy was nice and light Chips weren’t greasy either Usually used to a thicker curry sauce but I preferred it a little thinner (you don’t know until you try it) Only likkle problem I had was the fork, I couldn’t scoop the last few bits up. You know that mixture of batter, crispy chips & curry sauce. A spork would have made it 5 Stars
Extremely fair prices, extremely friendly staff. On occasion when close to closing time have had a few not so good fish and chips but my overall experiences are really good. I recommend this to anyone.
