Please consider this if you read the response to my review from Practical Van Rental: Its representative called Natalie found the time to call me when she saw this review. She actually told me she had to deal with customers in front of her. I explained that customers booking by telephone are common place and still customers. I have no doubt that but for this review I wouldn't have heard from Practical Van Rental. Its reply is disingenuous. My complaint wasn't about its booking processes. It is about very poor customer service and an absence of common courtesy, and is now extended to an absence of integrity. MY REVIEW I have tried to hire a van for over two days. When I asked if I could take a van to Germany I was given a price and told a decommissioned van could be made available i.e. a vehicle about to be disposed of. I asked if the satnav had European coverage and never received a reply. The girl I spoke to by telephone was curt and in my opinion seemed predisposed to take any reasonable question as an unreasonable enquiry Nevertheless I needed a van so tried again today. Again the same girl was curt and slightly unpleasant. She said she didn't know if a van was available. Two hours and more have passed and I haven't received any communication. In this kind of business two hours is an age and I will never bother this Practical Van Hire franchise with my money. I don't think the girl running Practical Van Hire Goole is particularly suited to a business that is based on customer service because she seemed to me to be irritated by my sensible and necessary questions, and judged by her conduct towards me is short on simple courtesy. There are bigger, smaller and certainly better alternatives to Practical Van Hire Goole.

Excellent staff friendly service always happy 😃really good for last minute rental and don’t mind extending the rental if the vehicle isn’t needed elsewhere.I’ve used their services several times and have not been let down😀

Not great at all. The car was a small 3 cylinder yet a medium car was booked and paid for. Not clean either with rubbish and someone else's belongings left behind.

Unhelpful, difficult staff. Almost like they didn’t want to rent the van out. Also charged for fuel on return when the needle was in exactly same place as on taking. Very unpleasant experience.
