Fair. No access to the canteen, and the vending machines were broken, not too much of an issue, cos I need to lose a few bucks pounds anyway. Got talking to another driver, outside the goods in office, who was in a wee bit distress because he was GASPING for a cigarette, and there was NOWHERE to have one and the goods in staff told them this, I suggested that they have a smoking area offsite at the staff car park, which is a considerable distance away from the goods in area, plus he’d need to be given a access pass. I don’t know whether his need was met, but I don’t understand why they, in my opinion, persistently take the piss, literally, out of drivers. At the goods in area, there are 3 toilets, male, female, and disabled, and they are supposed to be THE DRIVERS TOILETS, but more often than not, it is frequently used by Tesco’s staff, not an issue, I hear you cry, but If TESCO’s are saying, you can’t use our smoking area or canteen, seems extremely hypocritical, and almost like being held hostage in the goods in area, crowded in together, breathing everybody’s GERMS. It’s about time that hauliers stand up to Tesco, cos with the exception of a couple of the other supermarket rdcs, drivers are allowed to use onsite facilities
Booked in on the touchscreen terminal at the gate and was immediately allocated a bay. Drivers are "NOT ALLOWED" to stay in their cab. No a/c in the goods in office / drivers waiting area. Quick offload 35-40 mins.
Went here as a contractor. The staff are very helpful. It's clean and well maintained.
Terrible, goods in staff useless dont know what they are doing booked delivery for 21:00 tesco said 22:00 make you wait and dont care about driving hours
The staff are very unfriendly and very rude. I have loaded here many times and it doesn't matter which staff are there they are rude to all the drivers. The only nice people are the shutters they are very friendly and helpful if you have any issues, I feel sorry for them having to deal with the office staff on a daily basis
