Hermes ( new name: EVRI)pick-up point. That's great! Wide range of goods. Dear helpful staff. Worth a visit. Good little shop if you go for it. (Not necessarily suitable for larger purchases, unless you suddenly need something in the household.) Opening hours are great even if you live nearby, go to work, or travel through.
Out of date items being sold beware. Honestly used to love popping into Londis for the wide selection and competitive pricing but now… the shop is a right dump. It’s messy, dirty and unorganised. And please be careful and date check what you buy. We bought a few drinks including a Mountain Dew can, after getting home we discovered it was 1 week out of date. I dread to think what else is not in date. Seems no one is rotating or date checking stock or reducing items that are nearly out of date: the basics of retail. *On top of that the parking situation is ridiculous. There’s no dedicated parking so people are all over the double yellows.
Open till late and wide selection of groceries and alcohol
I use this store and never before had a problem, however yesterday I tried to buy 99p mushrooms with tap and go, I was told I had to spend over a £1. This is ridiculous you do not get charged for tap and go, I can tap into public toilets for 40p There is no minimum card payment law, which means that there's nothing stopping businesses from setting a minimum spending limit. However, there are rules set out by card networks which state that any merchant accepting their cards cannot set a maximum or minimum limit. I shall just leave this here.
Well stocked with a cash machine. No dedicated parking places and surrounded by double yellow lines so be careful. Expensive goods but that's the price you pay for convenience
